Nelsons in Nauvoo~

WOW! It was one of the most amazing trips- and definitely a testimonie builder. I learned so much about Joseph and Emma Smith. Well I will give you the details~

We drove 8 hours with the Ludlows to get to a little town called Kearny Nebraska. We stayed in Holiday Inn (best hotel everr) we got in kind of late but... not to late to swim! Their swimming pool was so cool! It had 2 fast fun water slides!! So fun!

The next morning me my mom and dad Haley and Hyrum went on a easy 3 mile run on a trail right behind out hotel. It wasn't just a park it had this cool look out view building, a amphitheater two water parks (it was perfect because it even had stairs we could run just like at home) my parents were convinced that they were going to move out here someday!

Before we left we had to show the Ludlows the park. We had lunch and then headed out!

This is the R-LDS temple that Joseph Smiths son took over and changed some of the rules in our church. Its a little bit different than our LDS church.

Adom-ondi-Ahman

This is the house my mom lived in when her parents were called to serve on a LDS mission here. She was 20 years old. This is also where she opened her mission call to serve in the Catania Italy mission

Preachers rock Adom-ondi-Ahman- This is where they say the biggest sacrement meeting will be when Christ comes. It is also where Joseph smith would speak to the people. It is really cool because you can stand on this rock and talk in a normal inside voice and the kids all the at the back could hear you!
